My old wooden toad on Endcliffe Park is crumbling back into nature.I’ve carved two ash tree trunk toad sculptures over the last 30 years and people tell me about the touchstone nature of this sculpture for them.

So now The Friends of the Porter Valley have raised funds through their annual Duck Race

to get me to create the third toad, in iron this time. I’ve just started carving the former to cast the new toad from….
