Viking Ark of the Covenant & Carnyxification.

Co-creation project with Community Connect at Wath Upon Dearne for the Wath Fire Festival, promotional exhibition and processions.

As skills progress and a sense of capability develops I would introduce new materials or we would find salvaged items to incorporate into the design and its functionality. We shaped and riveted together aluminium, plastic, pallet timber, an old banister, a pub table frame, some drums, wheelbarrow wheels and LED torches to create this processional sculpture.

Additional side projects emerged as the project continued resulting in 4 LED Carnyxes, a battle-axe, shields and a green fire in plastic.
