Rory was tragically killed in a road accident in Didsbury, Manchester. At only 17 his parents wanted to celebrate his life and loves as described by family and friends. The sculptural seat in iron and carved oak features jokes, anecdotally relevant artefacts and literary characters that can be enjoyed by park visitors but has private resonance for the family.
